RIP Biblioblog Top 50

It is a sad day. A day that will go down in history as the day that the Biblioblog Top 50 has passed on. That’s right. The Top 50 list of biblioblogs is no more. This is the news that Jim West broke a little bit ago. I, for one, mourn the loss of this fun monthly event. And though Jim assures us the Top 50 is not dead, but merely changing course, I submit that without the rankings the glory of that blog has indeed left us. So, I say rest in peace, Top 50. Rest in peace.

  1. For me the glory of the Top 50 blog has always been in the extensive list of biblioblogs. It’s so convenient and you can tell that a lot of work has been put into it. I’m glad that they’re not doing away with that.

    • That was a nice touch as well, and is the list from which the monthly top 50 was formed. However, upon returning to the site just now, I see that that extensive list is either not accessible or has been removed. 😦
