Yesterday, Dave Black asked for help with the future third edition of The New Testament: Its Background and Message. He wants anyone who is willing to “carefully read through the current (second) edition of the book and then send me specific suggestions for its improvement.” He’s even offering a copy of The Jesus Paradigm to those who help. Those who want to, have until the end of summer (or so) to send in those suggestions.
I do believe I’ll take him up on his offer. I already have The Jesus Paradigm, so I’ll be doing this just for the sake of knowing that I’ve helped (in some small way) to put out a great publication. It really won’t take too much time either. If I read 7 or 8 pages a day, I’d be done with the book in three months. Add to that a little daily time to research and critique and it’ll be simple.
Obviously there are some things that may come up (like a job) that might get in the way here or there, but I’ll still try to do my best. I hope you all will join me in this.

It’s a deal
Cool! I’ll get started on it tomorrow.
