Here is my most recent definition of patience, as I learned first-hand today. I think patience is standing around quietly in an antique store for hours while your mother-in-law looks at everything . . . twice.
If there is a better definition, as of today, I don’t know it.

I’ve been in your shoes and learned the hard way. Whenever shopping is a possibility, I always carry at least one book (it is also a great time to work on Heb/Grk vocab). Then they can shop as long as they want and you are enjoying yourself at the same time.
