I just discovered PaperBack Swap. It is a site that allows you to place unwanted books up for trade and also request books from others. Its really a very simple process. After you load your first 10 books, you get 2 credits to put toward books. Each book costs 1 credit. After people request a book from you, you also get a credit.
So, I put several books up that I don’t care for and know I will never look at again, and in return I requested 2 books so far. They are Reinventing Jesus by J. Ed Komoszewski, M. James Sawyer, and Daniel Wallace, and Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (Volume V) by Gerhard Kittel and Gerhard Friedrich. Despite it being just the fifth volume (out of 10), it’s still a very nice deal. New the book runs $70, so I’m happy with this.
I’ll be reviewing the both of these soon, so be watching out.
