Looks like I’m getting a couple more books in the mail soon. Gorgias Press is kind enough to be sending two titles my direction:
Scribal Habits of Codex Sinaiticus by Dirk Jongkind
The Medical Language of St. Luke by William Hobart
Dr. Jongkind is another New Testament Research Fellow at Tyndale House and blogger at Evangelical Textual Criticism. Dr. Hobart, according to Gorgias’ site, “was an honored and outstanding scholar at Trinity College, Dublin.”

Hobart should be an interesting read since everyone after Cadbury tends to ignore him.
I’m hoping that it will be a good read. I’ve not heard of another discussion on medical terminology in Luke’s writings. Should be interesting at the very least.
